Technical Solutions for a Project of a Skid Barge purchase /towing

In the Christmas Day of 2016, it's a heavy snowing day, By request of our client, CPNF experts team Capt.Frank Gu, Chief Engineer Mr.Zhou Xiaodong and Team leader Capt.Zheng carried out an onboard pre-purchase inspection to Skid Barge "Loong 1" who berthed in the pier of STX Dalian yard. Our team submitted an initial report within 3 working days right after the inspection and submitted an offical inspection report to our client in one working week.
This initial onboard pre-purchase inspection suppied a good ship condition evaluation for our clent to make decision
from the view of technical.
CPNF has more than ten (10) years new building supervsion experiences which had the inspection team gotten
practical and professional insepction results to the ship's hull, structure, ballast tanks, DBTs.
In this time initial inspection, CPNF Team carried out function test together with Class KR surveyor to: ballast system,
Fire-fighting system, ship electricity plant (G/Es), general alarm system etc.
In June of 2017, Our Team leader Capt.Zheng visited Skid Barge "loong 1" again together with our client (buyer) both gentlement to carry out futher pre-purchase inspection due to the long time past (six months) after the initial onboard pre-purchase inpection.
Joint inspection team focused on the ship general condition, onboard stores and spare parts inventory to be delivered,
Ship delivery procedures etc.
In Nov. 2017, CPNF attended the final onboard inspection together with client (buyer) commercial and technical representatives in Dalian. Assisted client representatives to double confirm the delivery ship condition including delivery
onboard stores, spareparts inventory. Ship delivery preparation and procedure/plan.
In Dec., 2017, CPNF assisted client (buyer) to check the preparaton of towing gears onboard Skid Barge "Loong 1". also assisted the buyer arranging Hull insurance, documentation and other towing preparation works.
In Jan., 2018, CPNF attended the skid barge delivery to coordinate towing arrangement, joint un-berthing meeting with pilot, towing tugboat, buyer PIC. , Outward port formalities etc.This project lasts more than one year since the initial inspection in 2016 until delivery STX Dalian in 2018.
